Just 21 More Days!!!

Well on the 21st of this month after 23 years of working for Brookshire Grocery Company  I plan on retiring!  Life will sure change after then.  No more having to get up at 4a'm.  Although I will probably wake up anyway.  I plan on getting a lot of housework and crossstitch done! Hopefully I will be able to get that accomplished!
Starting January 1 I am going to start a new crossstitch project a day for the first 19 days of 2019.  It has been a lot of planning and work  but I have all 19 projects  kitted up and ready to go.  After I get them all started, I have an app on my tablet called tiny decision that has them listed on a spinning wheel. I plan on spinning the wheel on Sunday to decide what one I want to work on for the week.  I hope to get all 19 (and maybe more) finished in 2019.  I will try  to post once a week with my progress!
21 more days!!! Can't wait!!

I hope this works!

My son and two grandsons came to visit this afternoon. You know the saying if you don’t know how to work something just ask your grandkids. Well I did and I think I might have this picture thing figured out. I finished my March sampler by Prairie Schooler. Keeping my fingers crossed. Here is the picture.
I next worked on the small piece that is with the same chart. I still have the border to finish and the words. I really hope to get finished with it this weekend. So here is a picture of what I have finished on it. If this has worked I will give a big thank you to my grandson Johnathan if it doesn’t, I guess it’s back to the old drawing board! Have a great week and hopefully I’ll be back next week with a finish!

Two weeks in a row!

Well I did make it back this week. Hurray for me!. I really hope I can keep it up. The weather has really been crazy this week. Tuesday night it was down to 3° and today it is in the 70's. You just have to love Arkansas weather! I didn't get to stitch as much as I wanted to this week. My youngest sister had shoulder surgery this week and my oldest sister from Houston came to stay and help her out. I spent quite a bit of time visiting with them when I wasn't working. I really enjoyed my visiting though(not so much the working.) I am still working on my Prairie Schooler sampler. I don't have much more to do on it. Then I want to stitch the small chart that goes with it. It has a picture of a lion and a lamb and has the saying "March comes in like a lion and goes out Like a lamb.". I still have not learned how to post pictures from my iPad to the blog yet. I plan on looking on YouTube to see if there is a video on this. Maybe next week..... Well I'm gonna go stitch. Hope everyone has a great week!

I’m Back

Wow!  I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve been here!  I really would like to get better at this.  Maybe I can try to post at least once a week.  That will be my new goal.  I still love to cross stitch and will try to show what I have worked on from week to week.  We have a snow day today so I would like  to get in quite a few stitches !   I am working on Prairie Schooler Daffodils.  I am about half way finished. I would put a pic for all to see but I need to do some studying and find out how to do that from my iPad!  Take care and have a great week.    ~~~Teresa
